This is the informed consent for consultations you have with Tvarvi practitioners over phone, video or chat ("teleconsultation"), in line with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020. You accept it when you book or join a consultation.
By booking or joining a consultation, you (the patient) are initiating a teleconsultation with a Tvarvi practitioner. This constitutes your consent to consult remotely. You may stop the consultation at any time.
You will be shown the name and role of your practitioner before the consult. Registered medical practitioners hold a valid medical registration; other specialists (nutritionist, counselling psychologist, yoga) hold the qualifications appropriate to their role. You may ask your practitioner for their registration details.
A teleconsultation is based on the information and history you provide and cannot include a physical examination. The practitioner will use their professional judgement and may decide that an in-person visit or further tests are necessary, or that the matter is not suitable for teleconsultation.
This is not for emergencies. If you have severe or urgent symptoms, seek in-person emergency care immediately.
Where appropriate, the practitioner may prescribe medicines permitted under the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines. Certain restricted and prohibited categories of medicines cannot be prescribed over teleconsultation and will not be.
Your consultation and any notes, prescriptions and shared documents are recorded in your Tvarvi health record and handled per our Privacy Policy. They are visible to you and to the care team involved in your treatment.
Proceeding with a consultation confirms you understand and accept the above. If you have questions, contact Aditya Bhardwaj at aditya@tvarvi.com or +91 99920 30855.
